With today’s fast paced development lifecycles and constant updates to applications, you need to keep the bugs at bay. A powerful tool in our arsenal for exterminating these bugs is an automated testing suite called Selenium.
Selenium allows us to simulate actual users of DataPoint through scripted interactions at a much faster speed than a user can perform themselves. In short, it is like having a computer perform these hundreds to even thousands of user actions and then raising their hand when a bug is found. The manual tests that previously took a team hours to perform, can now be accomplished in minutes.
What this means is a higher confidence of implementation for updates and new features added to DataPoint, which in return means quicker response times to issues and a painless user experience.
